I know it’s happening for you too, I’m not even tryna dismiss that, but bro, over here – it’s happening.
My ability to make a decision, stand firm on the decision AND THEN CHANGE MY MIND has got to be studied
Exhibit A) You know I am moving to Birmingham, you know, you have HEARD, I’m sure you are sick of hearing. Last year, I said to myself I am not buying another house ever again, I don’t want the headache, I don’t want the paperwork, I don’t want to chase a solicitor or estate agent again, I absolutely. DO. NOT. WANT. to pay 2ND/ 3RD TIME BUYER STAMP DUTY EVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE, and I don’t want another ‘renovation design project’. No.
So I was like ‘cool, I’m just gonna rent in Brum’. Then I did some quick math, cause my son needs a bedroom, I need a bedroom, and I need a wardrobe room (because God forbid I put a wardrobe in my bedroom) and I need a garden and a driveway, and it turns out a nice 3 bedroom in the area I want, is minimum £1500,00 per month. I times that by two years and was like OMGOSHTHATISTHEPRICEOFAHOUSEDEPOSIT.
So now – I’m buying another house.
I know I know.
Pissed.
Paperwork.
Pepper for estate agents and solicitors.
Possibly a mental breakdown during whatever renovations are going to have to take place.

JUST PPPPPPPPPPPP EVERYWHERE.
I’m annoyed, I truly am, because I wish I could be the kind of person who goes ‘Yes you’ll spend the equivalent of a house deposit on rent, across the two years, but that’s fine, because you’ll be comfy and not stressed and settled, so it won’t matter’.
But my brain just won’t do it. Every time I’m like ‘fuck it, just rent’, the voice in my head is screammmming at me.
So I’ve realised despite saying I want an easy life, I obviously don’t, my words are not matching my actions, and you’ll be seeing me buy, renovate and move into a house in Birmingham in 2027. This time I’m going to post about it in real time, cause the last two times I said I was gonna post and vlog the home renovations and I didn’t end up doing it, the videos are still sat on my cameraroll allllll now kmt, I’ve even sold one of the houses so there’s no point even doubling back to post it. BUT I’m gonna do it this time, and I’m gonna make it FUN!
Anyway, that is all for this post.
There’s so much more I need to update you on, but right now. I’m buying a house.
